Pushing Death Away

 Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

Pushing Death Away

I was at a warehouse for my work, and I started talking with a guy there.  He had asked me if I had ever seen a ghost. I told him I'd have been a hospice volunteer for twelve years, and have seen one, and been with others who have seen them.

He told me several ghost stories that he was told about his family.  One was about his uncle who was dying of cancer.  This took place years ago while they were still in Mexico City.

Juan’s uncle was sick with cancer and was bedridden for many months while he was struggling with the disease.  One day he and his aunt were walking into the room, and they saw his uncle pawing in the air with both hands!  Kind of like a cat pawing at something.

His wife asked him what he was doing pawing in the air like that?  He replied that there’s a young woman here to take me away to death!  And I am not ready to go!  His wife asked him who was the young woman. He said that he did not know who she was, but she was trying to grab his arm to take him to death!

As she reached for his arm he would try to push her away.  Because she did not exist in the physical world, it looked like he was just pawing in the air!  Juan said that his uncle died a week later!

Our discussion then turned to people not dying alone, and actually having some type of spiritual guide that takes you away into the next life.  I informed him that as a hospice volunteer for the last twelve years many of my patients would have spiritual people come and visit with them before their death.  That gave him a lot of reassurance. [1]

My Father is back!

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

My Father is back!

I had a new trainee today. He is a short little Hispanic man. His name is Juan Alegria. Alegria is the Spanish word for "happy." Then he was true to his name. He was happy all the time!  But after asking if I believed in ghosts, and saying that he did indeed,  he told me his ghost story.

His father had passed away about a month before, Juan flew back to his father’s house in Mexico City for the funeral.  That’s when his father appeared to him!

Juan said he was standing over the commode urinating when he noticed something at the corner of his eyes!  He looked to the left and saw his father standing there!  His father was just standing there looking at him! He was shocked and afraid because his father’s been dead and buried for a month!

He finished his business and then walked away for a few minutes to collect his thoughts.  A short time later, he walked back into the bathroom and his father was still there!  His father didn’t say anything, he just stood there and looked at him!

Juan was scared and didn’t know what to think about the situation.  So he decided to leave the house.  It was a very beautiful and large house in Mexico City.  His father was middle-class and was very proud of the home that he had built.

We discussed afterwards that perhaps his father’s spirit was stuck in the house, because his emotions were so attached to it.  His father also owned two shoe stores and a bakery, and was very proud of his success.  Whether or not that it could be a  true phenomenon  is unknown.  But it does kind of make a little sense.[1]

A Soul Leaving A Body?

 Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I just watched a very interesting video on the news today. I don't have a link to the video, but I did post these two pictures of the same video. It shows a spirit leaving its body just after death of that person.

Ghosts and souls only exist in tales revolving around haunted houses and graveyards – after all, science says that the supernatural doesn’t exist. Other cultures prove otherwise, and argue that the dead could possibly live amongst us – as proven in a viral Chinese video which left us scratching our heads!

A hospital in China has recorded a shocking and perhaps eerie footage back in 2014, at 4 a.m. in the wee hours, right before dawn – and science could not explain why. It was first uploaded on Chinese social media platform Taobao, and netizens worldwide are now puzzled – was it a ghost, or something else?

I don't have a link to the video anymore. Even if I did, it might be expired by now.  But these pictures are from it. The video clearly shows a white ghostly image rise out of the body! The white ghostly image then floats up and to the right, then disappears!

I have never seen a soul leave a body, but a friend of mine did on one occasion.  This friend is now dead herself, but she was sitting by the bedside of her mother-in-law and she looked up. She saw a white shadowy image before her rise out of the body and float away!

Now back to the Chinese video. It's a very creepy video. If you do a search for the video you can easily find it. Have you ever seen a spirit leave a body? If you have can you tell us about it in the comments section?

Pub Ghost

Hello Everyone.  Praise the Lord!

Hayley Budd is convinced 'weird things' have long been going on at The Lansdowne Pub in Cardiff, Wales, and recently. she believes she caught a smoking gun on camera.

The thirty-three-year-old was taking a break on July twenty-sixth, when a chair seemingly slid across the room of its own accord! The mother-of-three is in no doubt this was the doing of a resident ghost dubbed by regulars as 'Lady Lansdowne'.

Hayley is worried the 'ghost' could leave her short-staffed. Reflecting on the creepy encounter, she said: "I wasn't looking at the chair, I was looking at my phone but I saw it out of the corner of my eye." I heard it as well so I asked a customer if they had seen anything and they'd also heard the noise.

I always try to find the most logical explanation so in the video, you can see me looking to see if it was something in my bag that had moved then I was trying to tell myself that maybe it was the wind. I've tried to recreate it so many times but there's no logical explanation. I checked the CCTV to make sure I hadn't been imagining it.

"I wasn't frightened enough to quit my job, and run out of there, but I was really shocked. I wasn't expecting to see that at all. I don't frighten easily so I still sit at that table on my breaks."

However, while Hayley might not be easily spooked, she's a tad concerned that these weird goings-on could leave her short-staffed. Who moved that chair? Got Lady Lansdowne written all over it. She said: "One girl who works here, thought she'd bumped into another member of staff, but when she turned around, he wasn't there."

Nobody has ever physically seen her [the apparent ghost] standing in front of them, but a couple of weeks ago, the chalkboard started randomly swinging. A lot of the staff have said that if anything like that happens when they're there, then they'll go home, so I hope Lady Lansdowne takes that into consideration, because I don't want to be short-staffed."

It seems the challenge for Hayley then will be convincing her employees that the invisible lady means no harm. She said: "Weird things do happen, but nothing quite as blatant and obvious as this!"

There's a long-term rumor among the regulars, about a woman haunting the pub, and people who live in the flats above the pub say there are strange goings on up there. When I close the pub and there are no customers, I'll go into the cellar to do paperwork or change a barrel and it sounds like there's furniture moving upstairs but when I go up, everything is as I left it.

I'm not scared just because I've worked here for eight years, and she's never done anything that's a cause for concern. She clearly just wants to make herself known.
