1. Is the word trinity in the Bible? No.

2. Does the Bible say that there are three persons in the Godhead? No.

3. Does the Bible speak of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? Yes.

4. Do these titles as used in Matthew 28:19 mean that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead? No, they refer to three offices, roles, or relationship to humanity.

5. Does the Bible use the word three in reference to God? Only one verse in the entire Bible does so-I John 5:7. It speaks of the Father, the Word (instead of Son), and the Holy Ghost, and it concludes by saying, "These three are one."

6. Does the Bible use the word one in reference to God? Yes, many times. For example, see Zechariah 14:9; Malachi 2:10; Matthew 23:9; Mark 12:29, 32; John 8:41; 10:30; Romans 3:30; I Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; I Timothy 2:5; James 2:19.

Jesus identified Himself with the Father in a way that husband and wife cannot be identified with each other. John 14:9-11.

54. Does the Bible say that there is only one wise God? Yes. Jude 25.

55. Does the Bible call the Holy Ghost a second or third person in the Godhead? No. The Holy Ghost is the one Spirit of God, the one God Himself at work in our lives. John 4:24; I Corinthians 3:16-17; 6:19; 12:13.

56. Can Trinitarians show that three divine persons were present when Jesus was baptized by John? Absolutely not. The one, omnipresent God used three simultaneous manifestations. Only one divine person was present--Jesus Christ the Lord.

57. Then what were the other two of whom Trinitarians speak? One was a voice from heaven; the other was the Spirit of God descending like a dove. Matthew 3:16-17.

58. What did the voice say at Jesus' baptism? "Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Mark 1:11. As the Son of God, Jesus was the one God incarnate.

59. Does the Bible say that God shed His blood and that God laid down His life for us? Yes. Acts 20:28; I John 3:16. God was able to do this because He had taken upon Himself a human body.

60. The Bible says that God is coming back with all his saints (Zechariah 14:5) and also that Jesus is coming back with all his saints (I Thessalonians 3:13). Are two coming back? No. Only one is coming back--our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13.

We must beware of false doctrines, such as the trinity. The Bible tells us that all the fullness of the Godhead is in Christ. (Colossians 2:8-10).

We are complete in Jesus. It is Jesus, our Heavenly Father that robed Himself in a holy human body, born of a woman, so that He could pay the price of death for OUR sins. (John 14:6-19, 1Peter 1:18-19, John 1:29, Hebrews 2:14-15).

Jesus died, He was buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead. We were dead in our sins, but Jesus gives us Life. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). This is the Gospel.

Jesus gives us Life when we put off the sins of our flesh by repentance, we bury our sins by water baptism in the name of JESUS, (washing them away by the blood that Jesus shed), and we are filled with His Life giving Spirit, the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38, John 6:63).

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

 You’ll never understand the Godhead until you get revelation of the duality of Jesus:

1) Jesus was the son of man on his mother side, but he’s the son of God on his father side.

2) He was the seed of Abraham on his mother’s side, but he’s before Abraham on his father's side.

3) He was the seed of David on his mother’s side, but he’s the root of David on his father's side.

4) He was finite on his mother’s side, but he’s infinite on his father’s side. 

5) He was natural his mother’s side, but he’s was supernatural on his father’s side.

6) He was physical on his mother’s side, but he was spiritual on his father’s side.

7) He was temporal on his mother’s side, but he was eternal on his father’s side.

8. He was 6 feet tall on his mother’s side, but he filled all space on his father’s side.

9) He preached the word on his mother’s side, but he was the word on father’s side.

10) He walked by the sea on mother’s side, but he walked on the sea on his father’s side.

11) He was 33 years old on his mother’s side, but he was the ancient of days on his father’s side.

12) He got hungry on his mother’s side, but he fed the 5,000 with two fishes and 5 loaves on his father’s side.

13) He got tired on mother’s side, but gives us rest on his father’s side.

14) He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane on his mother’s side, but he answers our prayers on his father’s side.

15) He died on the cross on his mother’s side, but he kept on living on his father’s side.

16) He got his body from his mother’s side, but he got his blood from his father’s side.
