Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26
For our praying to be effective, we've got to connect with that subterranean area of our being where a mighty river of God's Spirit is flowing.
For when the tongue speaks by virtue of the mind's instruction only, it's speaking by our intellect, which is a reasoning tool. Our mind is argumentative, constantly reasoning, and it often becomes entangled in an argument with itself.
If we're not careful, we'll begin to operate from the mental realm only, and it will submerge our spirits and dominate us and we'll be Christians who operate from the mouth out, from the chin up, from the neck up. We'll never connect with that powerful subterranean area of our spirits where the rivers of living water are flowing!
The mighty river of God's Spirit is in our tears, our moanes, our dreams and visions.
